Belfast Booking Patterns
Generally good availability
Belfast sees less of the summer spike than English offices. Slots in November to March are usually available same-week. June through August is the busy period, but Belfast rarely runs out of slots more than 1 to 2 weeks ahead. NI residents flying for holidays book heaviest in May and June.
If Belfast is briefly fully booked, the next-nearest UK passport offices are Liverpool (ferry + train, or short flight) and Glasgow (short flight or ferry). For genuinely urgent cases, Glasgow flights from Belfast City typically run hourly and the cost can be lower than ferry fares.
